 SCIENCE AT BRACKENBURY

We are Scientists

Our vision for science

At Brackenbury Primary School, we believe science should spark curiosity, inspire questioning, and nurture a deep understanding of the world around us. Through the White Rose Science scheme, we provide a carefully sequenced, knowledge-rich curriculum that builds on prior learning and develops children’s working scientifically skills. Our vision is for every child to see themselves as a scientist: confident to explore, ask questions, and make discoveries. We aim to foster a sense of wonder, ensure strong scientific foundations, and equip pupils with the skills and knowledge they need to understand and shape the world responsibly in the future.

THE OGDEN TRUST

We are currently working with the Ogden Trust https://www.ogdentrust.com/

The Ogden Trust aims to increase the uptake of physics post-16 by supporting physics education and engagement for all young people (4-18), particularly those in under-represented groups. The Trust supports schools, teachers, projects and programmes that are committed to enhancing physics teaching and learning.
