HOME SCHOOL LEARNING
In this unusual time, we are planning to send home-school learning to all of you via the school website. Each year group will have their own work set. This will start after Easter. In the meantime, please continue to work through your packs.
As we find ourselves in very new territory, it is important that you do not put yourselves under undue pressure to stick to a very strict timetable - use our recommendations as a guide. I recognise that some of you are also working from home and juggling childcare and that is no easy task as lots of teachers are telling me! If you do not get everything done, do not worry. For those of you with children with Special Educational Needs, take your time and respond to what your child is telling you. Again, do not put yourself or your child under undue pressure.
Equally, do balance the time the children are spending on their work and doing other activities at home. The current packs are there to last for two weeks, but it is not an exact science as we have never done this before! If you are running out, do explore the websites that have been sent out. Our new newsletters also have other ideas you can explore.
These are testing times for all of us at the moment and what will keep us going is how we connect with others, including our own families, so be kind to yourselves and make sure you take a break.
